The recent talk of Matt Cutts at the WordCamp 2007 on SEO Tips for Bloggers is quite informative specially for bloggers who are new to SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

Among the tips that he showed shed some light with regards to using hyphens and underscores as word separation in URLs.

Matt neither verify nor deny if  google is now implementing the use of underscores as valid word separation by saying “we’re in the process of changing that (the use of underscores). We might have already changes that”.
