I’ve had some shares of laughs on people giving out hilarious answers in TV quiz show.
A personal instance was when our former house helper’s wife joined “Itaktak mo” of Eat Bulaga.
It was so funny to hear her answers to Joey’s questions.
One question was:
Joey: Anung “B” ang nilalabasan ni Sadako sa pelikulang “The Ring”?
Noy (coaching his wife): Butas… Butas…
Ruth (answering the question): Butas! Butas! Butas!
The answer should have been “Balon” or “well” in english.
She was wrong in this question but she managed to get to the final round and wins P110,000…
There are really those things. And it’s very common to see those instances especially in a show wherein most of the people who joined such a contest come from the lower class.
But Its really bothering that in games like “Who wants to be a Millionaire” (and this one was in France), you would still see people, and even a whole crowd giving out dumb answers.
