A 10 second earthquake was felt around Metro Manila including Makati Business District , Ortigas and Quezon City around 12:27 pm (Philippine time) today.

The epicenter of the quake is 16.037° North, 119.906° East which is 45 km West of Dagupan, 85 km West-South-West of Baguio, 120 km Northwest of Angeles and 195 Northwest of Manila.

As of 8am this morning, the Official website of the Philippines’ Land Transportation Office (www.lto.gov.ph) was hacked by a self proclaimed turkish hacker in the name of iSKORPiTX.

The defacement was even made possible due to the fact that the website runs on the Windows platform (as opposed to the common linux web server).

The CPA Results are now out and the 10 CPA Board Exam Topnotchers are already named.

The complete result of the board passers for the recently concluded CPA Licensure Examination this October 2007 was already released by the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) in their website.

11 people are confirmed dead and around 100 people were injured in large explosion that shook the Makati Ayala Center Glorietta 2 around 1pm last October 19, 2007.

The blast emanated in the area of 1st Level Gorietta II this afternoon.
