As of 8am this morning, the Official website of the Philippines’ Land Transportation Office (www.lto.gov.ph) was hacked by a self proclaimed turkish hacker in the name of iSKORPiTX.

The defacement was even made possible due to the fact that the website runs on the Windows platform (as opposed to the common linux web server).

Finally, Apple has now released a public Beta version of the famous Safari browser for Windows.

WobZip is an online tool that will unzip/uncompress your file on the fly.

Currently, they still on development phase, so they will not guarantee the validity of their appication

WobZip supports 7z, ZIP, GZIP, TAR, BZIP2, RAR, CAB, ARJ, Z, CPIO, RPM, DEB, LZH, SPLIT, CHM, ISO compression types.

I came across this tool when I found myself working with a Debian development server and the unzip program doesn’t seem to work. I searched the internet and… Voila !! An answer just fell from google’s hand :)

Security in the internet is like bagoong to mangga, B1 to B2, corruption to the government – No matter what you do, it seems like they are meant for each other.
As web developer, it is definitely one of the things that haunt a web creator on his way to sleep.
You can’t just put your codes as bare as they can be with the tides of the internet waves always smashing your website every second.
Security is paramount.
Security is critical.
